No speed restriction

The great advantage of the SIDEFLEX system is that there are no components on the tread. In tyre protection chain systems, the tread is protected by forged components that are connected to a flexible chain net by welded centre rings while improving traction at the same time.

The SIDEFLEX system cannot provide protection to the tread. But this is not required in all applications though. Especially in high-speed vehicles such as dump trucks, a tyre protection chain only functions as a traction aid due to the wear conditions.

With respect to the driving comfort as well as with respect to the wear properties, this makes the SIDEFLEX system independent of the speed of the equipment.
